Domain Name Transer

  I have a domain name that I purchased on Go Daddy and I want to transfer it to WordPress so I can start with a blog and then develop my website. There is nothing at this point but a domain name. I clicked on the option to do the transfer but don’t know if I need all the mapping because there is not site. Please let me know the best way to do this. Thank you Donna

  Hi there,

  Before you can use that domain with us, you’ll first need to create a site, and upgrade that site to a paid plan. If you bought the domain less than 60 days ago, you won’t be able to transfer it right away, but will need to keep it at GoDaddy and only map it here until it becomes eligible for transfer.
