  just trialling free version want to have a play about but don’t want to transfer my domain name yet

  Sure, I see you are testing out the premium plan you can move the domain to another host if you are not going to want to continue using it on WordPress.com:

  For more information on using the domain elsewhere, please see:

  If you recently registered the domain, you have to wait 60 days before you are able to transfer your domain to a different host, but in the meantime, you can use the domain with your site by pointing the nameservers over to your new host:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/
