Domain name transfer

  Hi! I registered my domain name with google prior to researching and deciding WordPress.com works best for me. I’d like to get started building my site, but can’t transfer the domain name to WordPress until June 8. So my question is, can I begin creating and do the domain transfer later, after June 8? Thanks!

  Hi –

  No worries. You can point that domain to us through domain mapping instead. Then, once it is eligible for a transfer you can do that at that time.
