  A group of us bought a domain name for a joint business. Can i transfer it from someone else’s wordpress account to my own? (with his consent)

  Hi there,

  Yes, it can be done, but the owner of that domain needs to contact us and confirm the transfer.

  I suppose that you’re referring to a domain registered through us (WordPress.com). Because if the domain is registered elsewhere we have no control over it.

  Just to make a correction to what I previously said. Only the domain owner can transfer it to another WordPress.com account. Here are the instructions:
