Domain Name/Transfer

Sorry if any of this sounds stupid but I am panicked/stressed.
I tried to purchase my old domain back to set up my wordpress website again after I have been away for quite some time. I checked it a few days ago to make sure it was still available, which it was. I go to purchase it back today, using Hover, and it has been taken which requires a minimum offer of $199 to get it back!
I have contacted Hover to find out more information.
But my concern is; is I set up a new domain name, how do I transfer all my content from my original website that is linked to WordPress? If that makes sense…

Your site paigespugmark.com was not hosted by us (WordPress.com). It was using the open source WordPress.org software and it was probably hosted by Siteground. Therefore, you need to contact them and ask them if they still have a backup of your site.
We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us. For help with a site like yours you need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums:
