domain name transfer from wordpress to selfhosted solution / registrar

  How long does it take and can it be sped up? trying to transfer from WordPress.com to my mediatemple account and it hasn’t arrived yet and is pending, can it be expedited?

  What domain are you trying to transfer and where are you in the process? There’s no domain under the account you are contacting us from.

  If you have already initiated the transfer, there is a 5 day waiting period. You should receive an email within that time to confirm the transfer. Once the transfer has been confirmed, your domain should be transferred within 5 days:
