domain name transferring to new website

    I am making a new website for a motorcycle club, they have a domain name on the old site they want to keep, can I create the new website and then transfer the domain name when they want the switch to occur?

    Do you want to create the new site on WordPress.com? If so, the existing domain can be mapped or transferred to WordPress.com — both options are a feature of paid plans.
