  I have a domain name registered with my WordPress account. Currently it’s pointed at my WordPress website but I’d like to point it elsewhere. How do I do this?

  Hi @kateashford, no problem. First log in with the account that owns the domain (it’s the other user on your site.) Then I’d recommend pointing the domain to your new host’s name servers:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  Then you can transfer there as well if you’d like:

  Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  If you opt out of transferring, just be sure you keep the domain name renewed here. You won’t need a paid plan for that, but you will need to pay the domain fee of $18/year.
