domain not forwarding properly, has already been renewed

    Hello, for some reason the domain name 13thfloormagazine.com is not mapping properly to 13thfloormagazine.wordpress.com. I had to turn it off as the primary domain in order for my website to still be accessible. When the main URL was 13thfloormagazine.com, the black screen with the robot saying that the domain name was expired showed up. The issue is that I renewed the 13thfloormagazine.com domain several days ago through godaddy.com, but wordpress is still saying that the domain new has not been renewed. I would eventually like wordpress to be able to handle the domain name entirely, as godaddy.com is hard to use and not necessary if wordpress can handle it. I have read that I should wait a while, though, to transfer the domain name from godaddy to wordpress in order to not create more confusion. Sorry if this email is confusing, I’m not sure if I’m using all of the right terms. Please let me know if you need more info.

    The Domain mapping upgrade for 13thfloormagazine.com was owned by the user blueshiftbooks. However, it expired on 2017-03-03, which is why it is no longer working.

    blueshiftbooks can renew Domain Mapping from their Manage Purchases page:

    https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

    The issue is that I renewed the 13thfloormagazine.com domain several days ago through godaddy.com, but wordpress is still saying that the domain new has not been renewed.

    Sometimes, the records for the domain can take a few days to update everywhere. I checked the WHOIS information for 13thfloormagazine.com and GoDaddy is showing as the registrar.

    I would eventually like wordpress to be able to handle the domain name entirely, as godaddy.com

    We do not currently support incoming domain transfers — so you will need Domain Mapping in order to use it on your WordPress.com site.
