Domain not working

I have just built a blog page with a domain name and then I changed my mind and switched to a different domain name. When I Google the old domain name it takes me to a page which explains that that domain is longer active. When I Google the new domain it draws a blank. My new domain doesn’t seem to exist, even though my site is there when I log onto WordPress. Any advice on how I can activate the new domain please? Both domains are wordpress.com addresses under the free package, but I am planning to upgrade to a paid for package once I’m up and running.

If the site was only created a few hours ago and doesn’t yet contain any content then it is early days to be found by a Google search. As long as you can see the site when typing the address into a browser search bar then it is online and working as it should. See: https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
