Domain on .com vs .org

Hi there I am a beginner at this and think I’ve already made some big mistakes. I just set up a domain on wordpress.com because I was going to use Wix but I couldn’t upload custom fonts… Anyway after researching how to install custom fonts for wordpress I kept being directed to the .org site, which is not where I registered my domain. I just deleted the domain from this wordpress.com account wanting to start afresh on .org and wanting to avoid the 60days transfer but it looks like this isn’t possible as now the domain just belongs to wordpress.com… Long story short are you able to help me fix my mess and possibly restore the domain to my account or let me know how I could start my website on .com while I wait for the 60 days?

Since you canceled the domain on the same day you registered it, it will be released within a week and you’ll be able to register it again through any other provider.
