Domain on wrong account

I wrongly set up a second wordpress account and registered a new wordpress domain name. I want to transfer this new wordpress domain name on my first account and delete the second account – is this possible? There is no content on the new blog yet.

Hi Darnell, apologies for the delay. I think I complicated matters! I did not have an upgrade, I merely set up a blog with the domain petsbyjosie but on the wrong account. I had forgotten that you could have more than one blog on an account so had set up a second account. All I want now is to know if I cancel this new account (petsbyjosie) will I still be able to find/use the petsbyjosie domain on my existing (artjosietipler) account? I don’t want to have to keep logging into separate accounts :)

What you do on petsbyjosie will not affect your site under your other account. Although you cannot completely delete an account, here are some options for you:

Hi – I worked it out. I went to MY BLOGS from the dashboard and on there was an option to TRANSFER the domain name. I followed the steps and have now transferred it to my first account. Ta. Josie.

I thought I had it but NOT. Set up 2 sites almost at same time
sspainrelief.com
XtaTee.com and they seem to be getting mixed up. I try and log in to one but goes to other and vice versa. How can I fix?

When I try and click on the recover password nothing happens.
When I enter sspainx.com in browser, it goes to Xtatee.com
When I enter Xtatee it goes to sspainx.com -

I’m sorry, but xtatee.com and sspainx.com are not hosted at WordPress.com. As such, we are unable to provide any direct assistance in this manner.
The fact that the site may have been built using WordPress, or may mention ‘Powered by WordPress’ (or something similar) simply means it is using the WordPress.org software, which can be downloaded and installed on any web host.

You can transfer ownership of a domain to another WordPress.com account that is an admin on your site – currently the account you are contacting us from is not an admin on the site.
