Domain Parked

    I’m trying to get my domain back with BlueHost as soon as possible but it says my domain is parked by Automattic. I used to have it under WordPress.com a few days ago. Please help and thank you!

    Hi there,

    If you cancel a domain it’s not released immediately. Depending on when you cancel, it can take anything from 5 days to over a year before the domain will be available to register elsewhere.

    In this case, you registered the domain on 10 Feb and cancelled it on 12 Feb, so it should be released by the end of the week. This is an automated process and I have no way of releasing the domain immediately. I can restore it if you want to keep it registered here and map it to Bluehost instead, but I’m only able to do that for another two days.
