Domain payment refund

I’ve been charged £50 for a domain I haven’t been using for years and after having switched to the free account a few years ago.
How is this happening? How can I make sure to have my money back and most importantly be sure that this won’t happen again?

I’ll be happy to look in to this. Can you tell me which domain you’ve been billed for? Looking at this account I can see that,
1. there have never been any domains registered to it, or payments charged.
2. you’ve deleted the user account.Let us know which domain is in question here so we can take a look. You’ll need to sign in to that account and come back and post here for us. This way we can verify that you have access to the appropriate account. If you’re unable to login let us know.
