  Hi there,

  I recently transferred my domain to weebly.com and purchased a year of hosting for that domain and if I were to transfer would I be able to transfer my domain for free and still have a year before my renewal?

  Hi there,

  To transfer a domain to us, you’ll have to buy a paid plan from us. That plan will include one free domain transfer.

  When the domain transfers to us, it will also be automatically extended for another year, so if your domain currently expires May 2020, it will expire May 2021 after the transfer completes.

  How recently? When a domain is transferred between providers, it is automatically locked for transfer for 60 days. This is an ICANN rule, and works this way at all domain providers. So depending on when you transferred the domain to Wix, you might not be able to transfer it to us yet.
