Domain pointing

  Hi, I’m planning on seeting up a blog and using it as my website through wordpress.com.
  My question is, can I point my domain name to the blog, so that when people look up http://www.myurl.co.uk they will see the blog?

  I have a domain and hosting package with an ISP and once the wordpress.com blog/webite is up and running (which I need it to be quickly) then I’ll look at downloading the software from wordprees.org and hosting it myself.

  I don’t think I understand why you are setting up a WordPress.com blog only to download the WordPress.org software and host it yourself. Can you explain a little more about exactly what you want to do?

  Regardless, you can upgrade to domain mapping to use your own domain name with your WordPress.com blog. Please see this thread from today on the topic
