Regarding you brand new blog which has lttle content as yet note that it will take time and frequent posting to new content for Google and other search engines to index your content. See here for the 10 factors that tend to expedite indexing.

I don’t know why you were unable to purchase a domain.

Timethief – thank you for your prompt help. I hope I will get the hang of this in time! Re the domain button – you were absolutely right I tried a few times and it worked. I work from a mac at the moment and I am not hugely familiar with it…
I am just about to read your link ’10 factors…’ Had imagined if I typed the name of the blog into google I would see it. Yes – we should have a decent article up this weekend .
I have one more teething problem I can’t figure. I added a form to my blog and don’t understand why MY details are in the form? Thought that was for others wishing to join a community to fill in? any ideas?

Your details are in the form because you are logged in – I can’t see them – if I go to your site MY details will be filled out – it is a short cut to save you some time and typing – you can log out when you look at the form if that will make you feel better
