Domain problems

  I have bought a domain (theresebjorstad.com) through wordpress.com and I would like people to be redirected to my blog at theresbjorstad.wordpress.com when they enter my domain (theresebjorstad.com)…
  I´ve asked you for help before but you just linked me to http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ , I tried to follow this guide but it still didn´t work. “It looks like the domain name theresebjorstad.com was registered through GMO Internet, Inc. in June 2013. ” This is also a part of what you told me, but why is my domain name registered through GMO Internt when I bought it at wordpress???

  Hi Therese,

  Please note that you registered the domain: theresebjorstad.com back in 2012; however, it was not renewed and the domain eventually expired. It was then removed from your account in May 2013. In March 2014, I see that you purchased a domain mapping following the directions of our support team.

  If you look into the domain, you will see that it is registered elsewhere:

  http://who.wildwestdomains.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=theresebjorstad.com&prog_id=wildwestdomains

  It was created on June 4th, 2013 through GMO Internet. Was this you? If it is, please contact them and have the nameservers updated to ours:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Then you will be pointing to us. Currently the nameservers are set to:

  DNS06.A2Z-SERVER.JP
  NS06.A2Z-SERVER.JP

  This is why you are unable to see your WordPress.com site.

  However, if the domain wasn’t registered by you in June 2013, then unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do. The domain belongs to someone else, and I would recommend registering a new domain.
