  I had the domain thepuppyconnection.org in the past. I transferred the domain to squarespace and now I would like to transfer the domain back to wordpress. I have unlocked the domain and have my auth code, but WP wants to charge me $97 for the transfer. is there anyway I can transfer my domain back to my WP site with out spending the money? given that I registered the domain on WP originally?

  You’ll need an upgraded plan to transfer a domain to WordPress.com but you can choose from Personal, Premium or Business. Start by choosing the plan you would like to use:

  https://wordpress.com/plans

  Then choose the transfer option on your Domains page:

  https://wordpress.com/domains/add/transfer/

  thepuppyconnection.org was originally registered through WordPress.co but we no longer have any control over a domain once it has been transferred away.
