  I bought a domain to start my own website on wordpress but I decided I’m gonna have another party handle the website. They’re asking for then domain ownership transferred to them.

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com and you’ve never bought a domain from us.

  For help transferring a domain, please contact the domain provider where you bought it.
