  Hi, we currently have a domain, and an existing website, but we want to upgrade to a newer, web 2.0 compliant version. How do we do that, without killing off the old site? In other words: how can I develop our site while the old one is still up?

  What is the domain, please? The account you’re using to post here does not own any domains or sites on WordPress.com.

  If this is a site at another hosting provider, and you want to set up the new site at that same host, please contact them directly for help. We can only help with sites hosted on our servers.
