  I have switched my blog over to a blog that I created through WIX and in the transition, I am wondering if I can hind the blog that is on wordpress without it affecting my domain name?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Any visitors to your WordPress.com site will be directed to your new site based on how your domain is set up.

  Are you trying to hide this site from your list of blogs? You can do that by going to the My Blogs list in your dashboard:

  https://lesserknownfeatsofawesomeness.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs

  Check the box next to the site you want to hide, select “Hide Blog on Dashboard” from the drop down menu at the top, and click Apply.

  When you visit your Blogs list at the WordPress.com homepage, you’ll now this note on the side:
