  Hello, I wanted to buy a domain name from you for $13 as you advertise however when I do add a domain name the rate goes up to $18 – WHY? There is no explanation to the change in rate and I want the $13 flat rate that you pre advertised. Thank you.

  There is a clear explanation that states $13 per year is the charge for mapping a domain name you already own.

  It also states that $18 per year is the charge for mapping a new domain name your purchase via WordPress.com.

  Moreover it goes on to state that for $8 more per year the domain can be privately registered.
