  Hello,

  I have recently seen that for some reason, my old domain (www.sherryscribbles.com) is registered to some strange Japanese place (55hl.com) and I’d like to have it back for my use. It used to be a personal blog for myself hosted here on WordPress – also the name is in use for all my social media. I do not believe that anyone else would want to use this so really it has no value.

  How can I recover it?

  Your domain expired in January 2022. When you let a domain expire you are literally saying you don’t need it anymore. Someone bought that domain on Feb 27 2022.
  There is no way to reclaim that domain.

  Whois.com can give you some info. There is no legal way to claim that domain. If the current owner is willing to sell the domain, it will cost you a lot of money … with a lot of money, I mean at least 4 numbers or even more
