  I want to transfer http://www.glossygurl.com to blogger. I purchased the domain mapping upgrade through ya’ll. I have looked at the automattic domain management system and I have read the entire DNS support page I cannot figure out how to transfer glossygurl.com so it points to my blogger site. Please help… I have tried to change the name server to http://www.ghs.google which is what blogger told me to do but automattic is saying I need 2 name servers listed… I dunno I am super confused.

  Hi there,

  It looks like Blogger requires an A Record change for your domain. However, domains registered at WordPress do not have the option to change the root-level A record.

  If you want to use the domain with your Blogger site, you can try one of these two options:

  New Registrar

  Transfer the domain out to another registrar that allows A record change.
  This guide explains how to transfer the domain name to another registrar.

  Domain Management

  Subdomain

  Use a subdomain instead of a root domain. An example of subdomain is “blog.example.com”.
