Domain Redirect

  I run dancemanila.wordpress.com and i purchased the domain (dancemanila.com) but it’s redirecting to another place instead of redirecting to dancemanila.wordpress.com.

  You can change the primary domain at this page. Please note that your .com domain is still pointing to a self-hosted site. Which means your wordpress.com address will point to there too.

  I’m pretty clueless to this so could you suggest what I should do so it would redirect to my dancemanila.wordpress.com. thanks in advance.

  Also, will everything be okay if I ask for the domain to be deleted (dancemanila.com) then I’ll just have it on again?

  I want it to redirect to dancemanila.wordpress.com but it’s still redirecting to the self hosted site which should’ve expired months ago. I didn’t do anything the past couple of days/weeks to have some effect on where it redirect/directs so I really have no idea what’s happening and why it happened.

  Looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet. Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Please contact your domain registrar to help you setting the above NS records.

  Thanks kardotim. I updated the name server to what you said. Hopefully it gets resolved after a couple of hours. I’ll post back if it’s finally working.
