Domain Redirect

    Hi,
    I’m considering buying a domain for my blog in WordPress.com address. If I map a domain, will the WordPress.com address of my blog automatically redirect to the newly bought domain? Or do I also have to buy a Site Redirect for this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    And I also wanted to know if I need to have one of not free WordPress plans to get a domain? or if I can do it with a free wordpress plan?
