  Hello – I requested a refund a few days ago for the domain name i registered with you. The request was within 48 hours. I am wondering if the domain name registration is released yet (more important than getting the money back). I am trying to use that name from another site and I can not get it mapped.

  I am not seeing that you registered a domain with WordPress.com. I see that you purchased a Domain Mapping upgrade.

  Domain Mapping is the WordPress.com upgrade that you you would use if you had a domain registered at another registrar (for example, godaddy) and wanted to use it with your WordPress.com site.

  In short, there is nothing on our end blocking you from using that domain elsewhere.
