Domain Registration
-
Hello,
I just registered a new domain name, staparent.com, however it redirects to my primary domain, stacatechist.com and I don’t want it to. How do I get staparent.com to stand alone, to not redirect?
Thanks.

Do you want staparent.com to point to it’s own, new, website? Or are you replacing the stacatechist.com URL with staparent.com?

I would like staparent.com to point to its own new website. Thus, I would like stacatechist.com and staparent.com to stand each on their own, with no redirecting.
Thanks.

No problem. I can help you with that.
Have you created the new WordPress.com site for staparent.com to point to? You wil need to do that first before I can move staparent.com to point to it.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do I create the new WordPress.com site for staparent? I can’t even seem to access it now. Thanks.

You can create a new WordPress.com site by logging into http://wordpress.com and clicking on “my sites” at the top. Then clicking on the “+” symbol next to “wordpress.com sites” to add a new site.
Let me know if you have any trouble.

Okay, I’ve made that switch for you. If you are still being sent to the old site, you may need to clear your browser’s cache.
