domain registration transfer from go daddy

  hi,i have registered my domain name with go daddy,i bought it yesterday and it is valid till jan 23,2022,if i transfer to word press,does it mean it gets extended to Jan 2024

  Hi,

  Typically transferring a domain to a new registrar requires purchasing an additional year of registration. So your 1/23/22 expiration date would become 1/23/23.
