  I have had a domain expire which I would like to have transferred to another web-domain provider. Is it possible to find out when it will become available? Or if I select “cancel this domain” will it become available sooner?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Domain expiration is a fairly long process:

  Recover an Expired or Cancelled Domain

  As this process is something controlled by our domain registrar partner, there is nothing can to do speed it up.

  Or if I select “cancel this domain” will it become available sooner?

  As the domain has already expired, canceling it wouldn’t speed up the process significantly.

  If the domain is important to you, I would encourage you to renew it and then transfer it to another registrar using these instructions:
