Domain renewal

    Hi there! I just bought a domain for my blog and got a message saying that my domain will be automatically renewed on December 27th, 2015 – which is only 11 months. Yet I was told I would have it for a year – why is the renewal one month short?

    Hi there,

    When your domain is set to auto renew, we renew it a month in advance of the expiration date to make sure the renewal goes through and there’s no interruption in your domain’s service. :) However, the domain is valid for a full year (through January 26, 2016) and the renewal will add another full year to the domain’s registration.
