Domain renewal

    I am trying to reactivate a site which is registered to my predecessor. Whilst I am able to edit the site as an admin, I do not have permissions to edit the billing info or upgrade the site. I no longer have my predecessors login details but do have access to her email. However when I try and reset the password, the link does not send to her old address. How can I gain access to her account or alternatively move billing over to my account? The site has been deactivated and we need to get it back up and running as soon as possible. Thank you.

    To confirm what is the site you are trying to access? Also, what is the email of your predecessor? I want to make sure the email you have is in fact the email associated with the account you are trying to access.

    You can provide the email here – no one else but me can see the email.

    Once I verify that the email is correct, I can assist you in gaining access to the account.

    My name is Iona Rowland – (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    My predecessor’s email is (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    Thank you for the information. I was able to confirm that the domain you are wanting to access is indeed under the predecessor’s account.

    What I can do is contact the predecessor’s email address associated with the account. All you would need to do is respond from that e-mail to verify ownership. Then, I will definitely be able to assist you in regaining access.

    Unfortunately the email hasn’t come through. Are there any other options we can look at? The project is due to launch this week so we really need it up and running today. Thanks very much, Iona

  • I did not get any bounce back. Did you happen to check your spam folder? Our emails sometimes end up in that folder.
