  I paid for 2 years in my domain name but when I put it in here it says renews in one year at $18

  Hi there,

  If you have registered a domain elsewhere for two years, then when you transfer it here it will be renewed for an additional year resulting in three years in total.

  Also, can you please let me know the domain name so I can have a look?

  Bzphotographynh.com is registered at GoDaddy and also hosted by them. It’s not connected to WordPress.com.

  Yes, your present domain registration expiration date would carry over if you transferred to WordPress.com. With the plan purchase we add one more year.
