Domain renewal a month earlier then Premium Package expiry

  Why does my domain renew a month before my package expiry? My domain is linked in billing to the Premium package I bought. I’m not sure if I will be renewing the Premium package. Currently my Premium Package is listed as expiring in 33 days, while domain “renews” in 3. Why is that?

  We attempt to renew upgrades 30 days in advance of expiration so that we have time to contact you in case of any problem with the stored payment details. This gives us time to contact you about a failed renewal without your domain expiring.

  Your renewal will be valid through March 5, 2016.
