domain renewal question
-
Hello, I recently got an email from wordpress that the yearly renewal of billing for my premium plan and my website ‘therpghideout.com’ is due soon. However, In my account profile I cannot see that I have a premium plan or this website on my domains list. I do remember that I signed up for a premium plan and this website, but I didn’t use any of it, and don’t remember canceling it (and if I did cancel it, why do I get emails that it is due for renewal. I would certainly like to cancel any future recurring payments.
Has this happened to anyone? And is there a way to contact support other than through the forums, so that I can forward the emails I am getting to check if they are legitimate.
Thanks -
I’m not seeing any upgrades associated with the WordPress.com user account you are posting from. This typically happens when you’ve ended up with a second WordPress.com user account and that second account is the one that owns the upgrade. You’ll need to log into THAT account in order to make any changes.
I can confirm that therpghideout.com is a WordPress.com site and the account that owns it appears to share some details with the account you are posting from. So I would say that your memory is correct and you did indeed set this site up and the emails are legit.
If you do not have access to that second account, here are a few options:
Account recovery overview – https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Lost password tool – https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Account recovery form – https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recoveryFinally, even if you do not have access to the correct account, if you have your payment information you can use our “Why was I charged?” tool. It was built for situations such as this:

I figured it out. The other account was linked to my Apple account, and I forgot about that. Thank you very much for your help.
