Domain renewal question

  I started my blog in April and bought my domain name then. I moved to being self-hosted on wordpress.org in September. WordPress.com is asking if I want to renew my domain name. Do I renew through wordpress.com or elsewhere?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You’ll need to renew your domain name through WordPress.com. Your domain name is still registered here at WordPress.com, even though your blog is self-hosted with a different website host.

  You can renew your domain name under Store > My Upgrades in your WordPress.com dashboard here:
