Domain Renewal URGENT

Hi
I am trying to renew my domain which will expire in a couple of days. I was sent an email from WordPress to go to purchases to update my card details to allow automatic renewal of my domain.
I signed in using my email address (which is the one they sent the reminder email to) and my website is not connected to that WordPress site!
I need to update my card details to enable me to keep my domain as a matter of urgency. Help -
What is the address of the domain you want to renew? This account you are using to post in the WordPress.com support forum is only 8 months old. No doubt you have another WordPress.com account (perhaps one with your name but without the numbers?) that will enable you to log in and reach the Manage Purchases page to renew your domain. If you are still having trouble then return here and add the word modlook to the tag box on the right. That will alert a member of staff to follow up.

I have tried all sorts of email addresses and usernames. I have to date had three website gurus looking at this and none have been able to resolve it! It is getting extremely urgent and it is my whole business we are talking about here. I have tried to contact WordPress many times but no one has got back to me. A member of WordPress staff would be greatly appreciate but not sure where I am suppose to put the word ‘modlook’?

Hi @deborahjcann021117, there are no domains or upgrades or purchases associated with the username account you are logged in with, so we have no way of finding things.
What is the domain name that you are wanting to renew? Without that, we cannot help you.

Thank you for you message. Yes I know that is the problem. There is no associated websites to this username or to my personal email address where WordPress sent the domain expiry link to (so when I clicked on the link and used the email address that they sent the reminder to my website wasn’t there. In fact no website was associated to it). My website domain is http://www.ultimatehealthcheck.com. It was purchased from Wild West domains. I spoke to them the other day and also over the years and they have nothing to do with it anymore ie it is WordPress – hence getting a reminder email with a link to say my domain expires soon and I need to update my card details from WordPress.
Can you help please as about to lose my whole business if not….. -

Thanks for the link. You will need to login to the account used to purchase the domain in order to renew it so please try these steps:
- Log out of deborahjcann021117
- Clear your browser cache
- Clear WordPress.com cookies
- Log in using the email address your renewal reminder was sent to
You should then be able to update card details and renew the domain from the Manage Purchases page.
It was purchased from Wild West domains.
Wild West Domains is our domain provider. You registered ultimatehealthcheck.com through WordPress.com so we handle the renewals directly.
Come back to me if you have any trouble logging in to the other account.

I have done that many times. I have had three websites gurus on this and none have been able to resolve this situation. I have emailed WordPress support and when they do get back to me they say the same thing you are saying. It doesn’t work as there is no website attached to that email address. Posting in this forum is my last hope as someone surely knows at WordPress what email address is linked to my website. It isn’t (email visible only to moderators and staff) which is where the reminder was sent to. We have all tried that many times over weeks now.
Help…all I am trying to do is get in to the site where my domain is and update the card details so it doesnt expire and I lose my whole business… -
As I suggested earlier perhaps it would be simpler to forget about emails for the moment and log into the account directly with the correct username. I’m only guessing here but as the username deborahjcann was created 3 days before the domain name was created then perhaps that is you too. Why not at least try it and log out of this account and log into WordPress.com using that username and whatever your password is. Perhaps then you’ll be able to reach Manage Purchases and renew your domain.

Yes that finally worked and I have updated my domain thank you.
HOWEVER it was lucky I guessed my right password with that as the email address on file is my old website developer of info at (redacted) and it should be mine which is (redacted).Can you update the email on file please.

The account email address can be updated with these steps:
A confirmation email will be sent to the new address and you’ll need to click on the link to confirm the change.

I think this may also be part of the problem as it says that email address is already in use (I think I may have a bogus username account with that email attached – maybe the deborahjcann021117 which doesn’t have any websites attached to it).
Can you help solve that problem please.

The new email address is already in use on your deborahjcann021117 account, so you would need to add a different email address there in order to free up the current one. Is there another email address you could add to deborahjcann021117 for now?

I have tried two of my other email addresses and also my personal email address (therefore 3 email addresses and they say they are ALL in use). I have deleted the email address from one and replaced it but the confirmation link says I dont need to do anything but just ignore the email (yet I am sure it says somewhere that I am suppose to confirm somehow)?
Also how do I found out exactly how many WordPress sites do I have and ties to what email and are they safe to delete if no website attached to them?Thank you
