  hi,

  I just want to make sure that my domain name “toreds.com” will not be automatically renewed once it expires. when it expires, will everybody, who go to toreds.com then be linked to my free site toreds.wordpress.com?

  No – your visitors will get a server not found error and will not be redirected. Your toreds.wordpress.com will work but your visitors will need to find it themselves – your subscribers should receive the proper link but others will have problems finding your site even in a search engine as your old domain name would be the one that is in search engines not toreds.wordpress.com
