Domain Still Expiring Even Though I've paid

  URGENT – I just purchased my yearly domain subscription with mapping and privacy, and although the transaction shows on my bank statement, in my WP account it is showing that my domain is still going to expire in one day. What’s going on?

  I have flagged this for staff attention

  But Godaddy has crashed today due to an attack and they handle part of the registration for Wild West Domains (WordPress.COM) so that might be the reason for the problem – however there is a short grace period on the renewals where the domain name still works so your site should be OK

  GoDaddy is currently mostly offline, and we are partnered with a GoDaddy reseller for our domain services.

  So, to avoid any potential problems while GoDaddy recovers their services, we have blocked off our domain system as well. We’ll bring it back once GoDaddy has recovered their services and you’ll then be able to renew the domain via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

  For now, I have refunded the failed renewals that you placed earlier today.
