Domain Taken

    Hello,

    i originally got my domain through wordpress.I went through a rough patch where my domain expired. I am trying to reacquire the domain however wordpress is saying it is taken. It’s a very unique name and I doubt anyone used it. Does wordpress hold it until I upgrade?

    Hi there,

    It looks like it has been taken by XINNET TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION, most likely a domain squatter. Basically, squtters look for expiring domains that are unique, like yours, and they purchase it hoping that you forgot to, but still want to repurchase. Then, they will offer it to you for a ridiculous amount of money.

    Most likely, it is not worth the money, but if you want to reach out to them in hopes that they will sell it at a fair price, it’s worth asking:

    It’s in a different language, so it might be difficult to reach out to them
