Domain taken down and site reverted to original state

    I’ve made my site and prepaid for the subscription to have my own domain without the .wordpress.com and the site was active. Yesterday, when I logged in everything was wrong. Can I have an explanation of the reasoning why this is happening?

    Hi there,

    It is possible to link a custom domain to your WordPress.com site, but if your site is not upgraded to one of the plans listed here, you do not have the ability to set that domain as your site address: https://wordpress.com/plans/

    That is why if you try to visit https://dimitrovmarketing.com/ you are redirected to dimitrovmarketingcom.wordpress.com.

    Once you add a plan, you will be able to set your site to use that address. Please note that our plans include a free domain for the first year, if you intend to upgrade to a plan please let us know so we can add credit to your account so you do not have to pay the full price, then we can bundle your existing domain with the plan you add.
