Domain Transfer

  I purchased my domain at another company for 5 years. When I transfer to WordPress it says I need to start paying next year – what’s up?

  Please let me know which domain you are inquiring about.

  This is a great question. So, once a domain registration is done, regardless of the provider, there’s no way to rewind that date. Your domain registration of 5 years is going to transfer over to us when we assume the registration after transfer.

  You will need to pay for the domain on our end. It will be included with your plan purchase, and that will then extend the domain expiration an additional year. You’ll have 6 years worth of registration after the transfer.
