Domain transfer

  I bought my domain with 1&1 and wish to keep my annual billing fro the domain with them. On their website, I was able to transfer the domain to WordPress. What’s the next step for me now?

  When using our managed hosting environment from WordPress.com there are 2 options for connecting a domain like you’ve described.

  1. Mapping: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
  2. Transfer: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
