Domain Transfer?

    Hey there! I am new a this so please bare with me. I bought my domain at Godaddy and I am unsure if it would be best to transfer to wordpress vs. domain mapping. I will be using my website for mostly blogging, if that helps.

    A free domain transfer (and free domain mapping) is included in all our plans listed here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    The primary advantage of transferring your domain to use (vs. mapping it) is that your billing will be consolidated here at WordPress.com. This can be helpful come renewal time, as you would not need to remember to renew the domain at GoDaddy and your upgrade here at WordPress.com. Instead it would be a single renewal with us for simplicity sake.
