domain transfer

  Hi – someone purchased a domain for me and setup a website for me. I now want to have control of my own website so i created a WP account and the other person followed the steps to transfer the domain to me by adding me as an admin in his account and clicking to transfer. (following these directions https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/)
  I have not seen anything happen within my account or received any emails or notifications. How long does this process take? DO i need to add a credit card to the account so i can become a WP business acct first??

  You are sure about the domain spelling? I do not see any websites at firstfullservicerealty.co

  Do you mean firstfullservicerealty.com instead? If I visit the .com URL I am redirected to ffsrealty.wpcomstaging.com which I can confirm is a WordPress.com site. However, I do not see that the domain has been transferred, and your @ruchellestuart account has not been added as an admin of the site.

  It sounds like the current site owner is not following the steps correctly, so please have them reach out to our support staff by going to https://wordpress.com/help/contact

  The owner of the site has live chat access under their business plan, so if they visit that URL they will get on the spot help with getting you added correctly.
