Domain Transfer

    I need to pay for my domain name but since it is no longer registered with wordpress, I only need to pay $5 for registration instead of $18 for registration AND mapping. How do I select solely the registration?

    Hi Belinda,

    I see you transferred your domain to a new registrar. That means you don’t need to pay WordPress.com to register your domain anymore.

    If you’d like to keep a link between your WordPress.com site and your domain, you can renew your domain mapping. However, if you don’t need the two to be linked anymore, you can just let the domain mapping expire.
