Domain Transfer

    I want to transfer the domain from godaddy to WordPress with I get the annual plan however, its not 60 days old yet. will I still take advantage of the free annual renewal if I do it later?

    Hi there,

    Yes you can wait until your domain is available to transfer (anytime) and when you do we will apply one free year of registration as soon as the transfer is complete and it is on your account here with us.

    In the meantime you can use domain settings to connect the domain to your site, which I can confirm you have already done, and is working for me when I visit https://coastguardwriter.com/

    The nice thing about connecting in this way, when your domain is ready to transfer it will be completely seamless (no downtime) since the settings to connect to WordPress.com are already in place.
