Domain transfer

    I cancelled my wordpress.com account and need to transfer my domain to bluehost… I tried following instructions but it doesn’t give me the transfer option. Did I do something wrong? Do I need to activate my account again, transfer it, and cancel again.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi frombeckywithlove0,

    I see you chatted with one of our Happiness Engineers a short time ago and they mentioned frombeckywithlove.com has been cancelled — you asked us to cancel this domain along with your plan.

    Only active domains can be transferred, which is why you aren’t seeing the option to transfer frombeckywithlove.com from your account. I’m afraid we no longer control this domain so you will need to register it again once it has been released.

    If I upgrade to a personal plan – will my url address be:

    Hi Ron,

    If I upgrade to a personal plan – will my url address be:
    http://www.biddenhamblog.com

    biddenhamblog.com is currently available, so you can choose that as your custom domain when purchasing the Personal plan.

    It’s worth noting that we automatically remove “www” from all URLS. Visitors to your site will still be able to visit http://www.biddenhamblog.com but they will be forwarded to biddenhamblog.com instead :)
