Domain Transfer

    Hi, I have just transferred my domain from Bluehost to Weebly who will also now be hosting the Weebly site. I have no more need for the WordPress site. Does the domain transfer automatically shut down the WordPress site, or do I need to manually go in and permanently delete the site and all information?

    Hi there, no, transferring the domain will not shut down the site. If you wish to close your account, you can do so as explained here.

    Close Your Account

    As stated, the account will be marked for deletion and will be deleted at 30 days. We have this grace period as some users change their minds and want the account back. After 30 days, the account is fully deleted and cannot be returned.
